Hokies Finish Season Ranked No. 16 in Both AP, Coaches Polls

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech finished No. 16 in the final rankings of The Associated Press and in the Amway USA Today Coaches Poll, which were both released Tuesday. It was the highest season-ending ranking for the Hokies in both polls since coming in at No. 16 (AP) and No. 15 (Coaches) in 2010.

In his first season in Blacksburg, head coach Justin Fuente guided the Hokies to a 10-4 record, a victory in the Belk Bowl and a berth in the Dr Pepper ACC Championship Game – their first appearance in the league title game since 2011.
