Virginia Tech redshirt-freshman defensive end Trevon Hill will reportedly undergo offseason surgery, according to Hokies defensive coordinator Bud Foster.
The surgery may require Hill to miss spring practice, although it will not be known for sure until he goes under the knife after the bowl game.
At this time, it is unclear what kind of injury Hill has been playing with, but it may not be too serious, considering the fact that Foster is expecting Hill to play in the Belk Bowl against Arkansas on December 29th.
The 6’3″, 240 lbs. Hill has played in all 13 games, and has made one start for the Hokies this season.
