BLACKSBURG – Head coach Justin Fuente and the Hokies took the field on Saturday morning for the start of spring practice and followed up with another on-field session on Sunday. Both of those sessions were in shorts and helmets. In addition to numerous prospects visiting campus over the weekend, 2018 Tech signees DeJuan Ellis and Dax Hollifield were also in the Beamer Barn observing practice, along with former Tech standouts like Andrew Motuapuaka, Terrell Edmunds, Greg Stroman and Tim Settle.
The squad is off with no lifting or practice on Monday before resuming their schedule on Tuesday as the Hokies will add shells under their jerseys as the tempo goes up another step.
