Both the Irish (15-2, 4-0) and the Hokies (13-3, 2-2) earned a victory in their last games. Virginia Tech defeated the Syracuse Orange at Cassell, a place where Tech has not lost all season. The Irish traveled to South Beach to face the Miami Hurricanes where the Irish came out on top with a 67-62 victory over the Canes’.
