Hokies Announce Scoring Format for Spring Game

The Hokies are currently moving full speed ahead in their spring workouts in Blacksburg, as the team continues their early preparation for the 2017 season.

With the practices in full swing, the team is inching closer to the conclusion of their workouts, which end with the annual Maroon-Orange Spring Football Game on April 22nd in Lane Stadium.

With the annual scrimmage now two weeks away, head coach Justin Fuente and the coaching staff have officially announced the format of the Maroon-Orange Game.

According to Hokiesports.com, here is what the coaches have decided on for the April 22nd intrasquad tilt:

“Fuente’s plans for the game call for the squad to participate in four 12-minute quarters (running clock).
