Saturday, the Flames head to Tech on the busses from Lynchburg. Who knows, their busses might pass ours on the drive down from Roanoke (well up Christiansburg Mountain anyway). The Flames aren’t the same team that we faced back in 2016, that’s for certain. Their concerted effort to find a Division 1 coach, and push to maintain some form of schedule during the season tells you how serious they are about competing.
