Postseason honors continue to roll in for Virginia Tech football players. Announced last week was the Atlantic Coast Conference Sports Media Association (ACSMA) All-ACC team, while the Coaches All-ACC Football Team will be released tomorrow, however other organizations are announcing their postseason teams as well.
Picking up a prestigious national honor was the Hokies’ Sam Rogers. The senior from Mechanicsville, Virginia, has been chosen by Pro Football Focus as a Second Team All-American at the fullback position.
Rogers notched his first 100-yard rushing game with 105 vs. Virginia (11/26), which included his first two rushing TDs of the year - one of which included a career-long run of 31 yards.
