Four-star Virginia Tech priority recruit pushes back commitment date

Recruiting has been a struggle this cycle for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry, who currently only has nine commitments in the Class of 2026. That has them at the bottom of the ACC, which isn't a good sign.

The Hokies have picked up some key commitments in the class with four-star wide receiver Carnell Warren and quarterback Peyton Falzone, but both have de-committed and found homes in other programs, Warren at North Carolina, and Falzone has committed to his second program since de-committing from Tech, now at Auburn. Again, if I'm a Tigers fan, I would wait until the ink dries over the winter before getting too excited about him.
