Logan Thomas was a record-setting quarterback for the Virginia Tech Hokies from 2009-2013. During his time in Blacksburg, Thomas was Tech’s starting quarterback for three seasons, won a lot of football games and set numerous career passing records — which still stand to this day.
Thomas would become a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in the 2014 NFL Draft. Unfortunately for Thomas, quarterback didn’t work out for him in the NFL and after bouncing around for a few years, signed with the Detroit Lions and became a tight end in 2016.
Thomas was considered a solid rotation player for the next few seasons, but the Washington Football Team saw him as something more in 2020.
