It has been another lost season for the New York Jets in terms of wins and losses. As frustrating as the wins and losses have been, so have been the injuries and quarterback play, aside from former Virginia Tech QB Tyrod Taylor, who had more moments than Fields.
Back in March, New York signed former first-round pick Justin Fields to take over for Aaron Rodgers, who left for the Pittsburgh Steelers in free agency. However, injuries to those players have forced former Missouri quarterback Brady Cook to start without a backup. On Thursday, they signed former Hokies quarterback Hendon Hooker to the practice squad with both Fields and Taylor banged up.
