Entering his seventh season as a kicker in the NFL, former Virginia Tech kicker Joey Slye has made some big kicks in his career. Last season, kicking for the New England Patriots, he booted a team-record 63-yard field goal against the San Francisco 49ers.
In 2023, kicking for the Washington Commanders, Slye kicked a 61-yard field goal for his only other kick beyond 60-plus yards. There is no doubt that he has a big leg, which a number of teams have found out as he has kicked for the Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Commanders, 49ers, and the Patriots.
