Former Virginia Tech cornerback Kyle Fuller released by the Chicago Bears

The Fuller brothers are considered royalty at Virginia Tech. Vinny, Corey, Kyle, and Kendall all played their college football at Virginia Tech, and each moved on to the NFL. Corey Fuller is now a member of Justin Fuente’s staff in Blacksburg.

The most successful Fuller — and they are all really successful — is Kyle Fuller. Kyle played at Virginia Tech from 2010-2013, where he was a four-year starter and three-time All-ACC selection.

Kyle would become the No. 14 overall pick by the Chicago Bears in the 2014 NFL draft.

On Thursday, Kyle Fuller was released by the Bears in a salary-cap move that suddenly makes him the top free agent available.
