Former Virginia Tech forward Seth LeDay, the younger brother of star forward Zach LeDay, has announced that he will transfer to East Carolina.
The younger LeDay was expected to be a major part of the equation in the frontcourt next season for the Hokies, who have had their fair share of turnover down low over the past few years. LeDay did not play this past season, his first in Blacksburg, due to NCAA transfer rules.
With the health of redshirt-sophomore forward Kerry Blackshear seemingly always in question, the Hokies were hoping that LeDay would fill in the void of his older brother’s graduation, while spelling Blackshear and sophomore Khadim Sy in the paint.
