Department's all-sports awards show takes place Wednesday
BLACKSBURG - Celebrating the on-the-field and in-the-classroom accomplishments of its student-athletes and coaches, the Virginia Tech athletics department will hold its inaugural Gobblers Award Show Wednesday night in the Moss Arts Center on campus.
The evening will be emceed by Andrew Allegretta, with members of the Virginia Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) presenting the awards.
Several “marquee” awards will be presented at some point during the show. They are:
• Best Game - This award goes to a team or individual with the best played game of the year.
