ATLANTA – The Virginia Tech baseball team committed three errors in the contest against No. 22 Georgia Tech and the Yellow Jackets managed to score four unearned runs as a result and took the second game of the ACC baseball series at Russ Chandler Stadium Saturday night by an 8-3 count.
Mac Caples, in his first start of the season, hit a two-run home run and Saige Jenco had two hits and drove in one run to lead the Hokies offense.
GT relief pitcher Keyton Gibson, who came in from the bullpen in the second innings, picked up his second win of the year, while Burton Dulaney tossed the final four innings for his first save.
