BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Virginia Tech’s Matt Dauby hit the team’s 75th home run of the season, however the Campbell Camels limited the Hokies to four hits to claim a 7-2 victory in nonconference action at Jim Perry Stadium Tuesday night.
Campbell (20-23) opened the scoring in the bottom of the first with Cole Hallum knocking in two on a double to left. Zach Minnick followed a hit batsman with a single to left to score Hallum and the Camels led 3-0. Matthew Barefoot doubled home a single run in the second to make it a four-run contest.
