Junior earns First Team All-America for third time this season

EUGENE, Ore. - Thomas Curtin earned First Team All-America honors after taking seventh place in the men’s 5000-meter race to pace the Hokies on the on the final day of men’s competition at the 2015 DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the University of Oregon on Saturday evening.

Curtin went out with power and speed as he led through the first 3000 meters of the race. With less than half the race to go, Curtin fell behind but used a powerful kick in the final two laps to power his way to a seventh place finish overall with a time of 13:52.
