Crystal Ball prediction has Virginia Tech losing recruiting battle to surprising ACC school

Virginia Tech men's basketball coach Mike Young recently went through some staff changes after assistant Kevin Giltner left to return to his alma mater, Wofford, to accept the head coaching job. Young replaced him with Boise State assistant David Moats.

Moats and first-year assistant Chester Frazier are both solid recruiters and key parts to Young's staff now, and one recruit that the Hokies have been in on, four-star guard Trey Beamer, is set to make his commitment this week, with Virginia Tech one of his five finalists.
