C.J. Reavis Speaks About His Dismissal

Wednesday evening C.J. Reavis took to Twitter and spoke about his recent dismissal from Virginia Tech. Reavis, who was the expected starter at rover on Virginia Tech’s vaunted defense, was discharged from the university earlier this summer. Although the details surrounding the situation have not been made public, no criminal charges have been filed. An appeal was made and a Student Conduct Hearing executed. The plea was denied and the disenrollment upheld in a verdict Reavis’ lawyer called "completely unwarranted" and a "tragic decision."

Along with running back Shai McKenzie, who was indefinitely suspended after being sentenced to a 15 day jail sentence and 50 hours of community service for a misdemeanor conviction, Reavis is the second Hokie, originally expected to have significant playing time this season, whom will not be on the field due to conduct issues.
