In the middle of the day Friday, the Hokies got a commitment that, while not exactly a surprise, was definitely interestingly timed. After setting his decision date at June 11th, QB/ATH Caleb Farley decided to end his commitment by giving the go signal to the good guys. Farley becomes the second offensive commitment, and joins what is now a six-member class. He is also the second commitment from North Carolina, following Hendon Hooker.
All indications are that Farley is recruited as a receiver- Hooker's the pure QB for this class. It's interesting to note, however, that James Shibest was his recruiter, and not Holmon Wiggins.
