BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech track and field and cross country director Dave Cianelli announced Friday that Ellie Brush (Mason, Ohio) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Hokies for the 2017-18 season.
“Ellie Brush will be a nice addition to our team,” said head cross country and distance coach Ben Thomas. “She has displayed a good mix of strength and speed in high school. She is mentally talented and a very hard worker who has steadily improved. She’ll fit right in with the team-first environment.”
A native of Mason, Ohio, Brush led the Mason High cross country team to a first-place finish at the 2013 Division I State Cross Country Meet, followed by a runner-up finish in 2014.
