Monday was a huge day in terms of news for the future of the Virginia Tech football program. First, the expected plan to get more money into the athletic budget ahead of next week's meeting was released, then later in the day, Pete Nakos of On3 reported that Bruce Arians is expected to consult and lend his expertise to the Hokies' hiring committee to find the next coach to replace Brent Pry.
That is major news, and on Tuesday, Arians joined the Pat McAfee Show and gave a hint of what is to come in Blacksburg in the not-too-distant future.
