When Virginia Tech football was in the process of being run out of Lane Stadium by Vanderbilt in the second half on Saturday night, to the tune of being outscored 34-0 in the second half of a 44-20 loss, it happened in front of a handful of recruits who were either taking their official visit or were already committed to the program.
