Well, that was fast. Go in one weekend, get a scholarship offer, commit on Tuesday. Sometimes these things work quickly. And so, Braxton Clark joins the Hokies class of 2018. He’s probably the least heralded recruit so far. Completely unranked across all four recruiting services (his basketball recruiting page comes up on scout before football does, ESPN doesn’t list him, Rivals, Scout, and 247 don’t have him ranked), Clark joins the class from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando- he’s a former teammate of Class of 2017 recruit Robert Porcher IV. He’s got the new ideal size and length for a corner- 6’-3”, 180lbs in high school already- and does have a couple other DI offers at the moment- Boston College offered the day the Hokies did, and Rutgers offered him back on the 16th.
