The No. 22 Virginia Tech Hokies look to finish the season strong on Thursday as they face the Arkansas Razorbacks of the vaunted SEC in the Belk Bowl. Despite its relative proximity to Blacksburg, this is Tech’s first appearance in the Belk Bowl, formerly known as the Continental Tire Bowl and Meineke Car Care Bowl.
The Hokies are balanced on both sides of the ball. They do struggle to run the ball consistently outside of quarterback Jerod Evans. Virginia Tech does most of its damage through the air as the Hokies are ranked No. 12 in the nation in pass success rate, according to numbers compiled by Football Study Hall.
