Andy Bitter, of the Roanoke Times, has confirmed the reinstatement of two suspended Virginia Tech players. Adonis Alexander and Houshun Gaines were arrested for marijuana possession, and subsequently suspended from the Hokies football team. Coach Justin Fuente announced today that both players are back on the team. The two athletes will miss the opener against Liberty, but could be available against Tennessee in the Battle At Bristol.

Both players sentenced to 24 hours of community service, and must serve 12 months of probation. If they can keep on the right track, there shouldn't be any issues with the two playing against Tennessee.
