After playing two SEC schools to open the season, the Virginia Tech football team was hoping to get into the win column at home on Saturday night against Old Dominion. The problem is, in 2025, nothing is easy for the Hokies.
After playing the worst half of football in the Brent Pry era in Blacksburg last week against Vanderbilt when they were outscored 34-0 in the second half, the Hokies followed it up with maybe the second worst half of football of the Pry era against the Monarchs who sliced through the defense for three scoring drives, two off of turnovers to take a commanding 28-0 lead into halftime.
