The Virginia Tech Hokies were off this weekend, however, it was still a busy day around the ACC. No. 3 Clemson embarrassed No. 16 N.C. State 41-7 in a game that exposed the Wolfpack as a pretender. Sure, N.C. State is solid, but padded its win total with victories over James Madison, Georgia State and Marshall to start the season.
A little closer to home in the Coastal Division, the Virginia Cavaliers won again. Yes, you read that right. The ‘Hoos traveled to Durham and defeated the Blue Devils 28-14 to improve to 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in the ACC.
