We are just eight days away from Week 0 in college football and two weeks from Week 1 kicking off with games beginning on Thursday night, Aug. 28. It's the most wonderful time of the year for college pigskin fans.
At this time, every team's fanbase thinks their team will be the team to beat in their conference, as well as win a college football National Championship. When the dust settles on the season in late January and a National Champion is crowned, only one fan base will be happy. To get there, teams will have to navigate through a 12-game schedule over three months, a conference championship game, and the 12-team College Football Playoff.
