It’s looking a whole lot like the Virginia Tech Hokie Baseball team is starting into a downward slope skid. It’s recoverable, but at the moment, Tech has only won two games in the last 7 starts, and one of those was non-conference. They’ve now lost their 2nd ACC series in a row with Duke coming to Blacksburg over the next weekend - with some problematic weather in the long-range forecast.
The hope in heading to Atlanta was that the pieces that came off the Hokie bandwagon in the unfortunate series sweep by Wake Forest in Blacksburg, would have been pulled back into the vehicle with the 13-3 (run rule) win over Liberty on Wednesday.
