The NCAA tournament has arrived. Awesome. Odds are you're probably not all that concerned about the Wooden Award right now. Or any other award, really. Odds are, you are dialed in entirely to your team's bracket and its chances of making you look smart and/or winning you, um, respect. Such is the time of year.
Just a reminder, though: After two remarkable respective seasons, Oklahoma's Buddy Hield and Michigan State's Denzel Valentine enter the tournament as, essentially, co-favorites. That's another way of saying that neither of them has achieved the type of overwhelming consensus that typically locks up these awards well before the NCAA tournament.
