The No. 2 Virginia Cavaliers showed up in full force at Cameron Indoor Stadium Saturday afternoon, taking down the No. 4 Duke Blue Devils on the road for the first time since 1995. No doubt about it, this is the Hoos’ best win of the season, and one of the best wins fans have gotten to experience in the Tony Bennett era.
We can’t blame the Virginia Softball team, then, for stopping everything to watch this finish and celebrate the win.
There was a lot to celebrate for the Hoos, who led by as many as 13 points early in the second half.
