In their last match before hosting the ITA National Indoor Championship, the top-ranked Virginia men's tennis team knocked off 9th-ranked UCLA in a one-sided 6-1 affair.

The Hoos took the doubles point with wins at #1 and #2 doubles. Doubles pair Mac Styslinger and Thai-Son Kwiatkowski, ranked fifth nationally, kicked things off with a 6-2 win over UCLA's Joseph Di Giulio and Karue Sell. When Ryan Shane and Luca Corinteli topped Mackenzie McDonald and Martin Redlicki, 6-3, the opening point was secured for the Cavaliers. The Shane/Corinteli pair is ranked #15.
