Virginia moves up to No. 4 in the latest AP Poll, receive four first place votes

Coming off of a convincing 72-40 win over in-commonwealth foe William and Mary, the Virginia Cavaliers moved up one spot in this week’s AP Poll to No. 4. Duke re-took the top spot after Kansas fell to Arizona State on the road. Michigan leap-frogged the Hoos from No. 5 to No. 2 despite struggling through the first half against Air Force. Tennessee moved up to No. 3 after a convincing win over Wake Forest. Kansas rounds out this week’s top-5.

All five of the top teams received first place votes this week with Virginia topping the ballots of four voters.
