The men’s and women’s Virginia tennis teams will be nationally seeded for the upcoming NCAA tournament, and a handful of Hoos will also participate in the singles and/or doubles tournament event. Both squads will play their opening matches (and hopefully second round) at home in Charlottesville.
No fans will be allowed at either the men’s or women’s matches as a result of ongoing coronavirus precautions, but there will be live video and scoring available.
The Virginia men’s team is the No. 5 seed in the NCAA tournament and will host the first two rounds on May 8 and 9.
