One of the nation's top centers, Tyler Fannin, committed to Virginia last week. Today, the UVA family added a player for Fannin to snap the ball to: quarterback Lindell Stone from Woodberry Forest picked Virginia as his destination for college ball.
Stone is rated four stars by 247, and three stars by ESPN, Scout and Rivals. At 6'2, 205, he has size somewhere between the dual-threat mold and the pro-style mold, but most of the recruiting services have analyzed him as a pro-style. 247 rates him their 9th best pro-style QB in the country. His other offers included Maryland, Ole Miss, Pitt, and UCLA.
