Following the announcement that the Virginia Tech Hokies and Virginia Cavaliers would need to postpone next week’s matchup, the ACC announced today that Virginia - Duke Blue Devils contest, originally scheduled for for November 14, will now be played on Saturday, September 26, where both teams previously had a bye week.
Per the ACC release, the Virginia Tech postponement “follows the positive tests and subsequent quarantining of student-athletes within the Virginia Tech football team.“
“I appreciate the quick action taken by the ACC and the willingness of Duke University to reschedule this game,” Virginia AD Carla Williams said in a statement.
