As a result, the Hoos climbed three spots in the AP Poll, coming in at No. 18 this week. Virginia is also No. 18 in the Coaches Poll. ACC leader Clemson stayed at No. 1, and no other ACC teams outside the Tigers and Cavaliers were ranked this week. The 4-0 Wake Forest Demon Deacons lead the “Also Receiving Votes” crowd, however.
Notre Dame fell to No. 10 after dropping their game to No. 3 Georgia, and Saturday’s upcoming matchup between the Irish and Cavaliers will be the only ranked-ranked matchup this week.
