There are some games when you breathe a sigh of relief at the final buzzer, and you say, “well, a win’s a win, especially on the road.”
Wednesday night’s game against Boston College was not that, at all. The Virginia Cavaliers dominated both ends of the court to come away with a big 71-54 win over the Eagles.
Virginia came out hot and, despite a small flurry of “offense” coming from Boston College (it involved Virginia losing a point after a London Perrantes three was declared a two, a flagrant foul that wasn’t actually flagrant but the rules book says it is, and then an actual bucket scored by BC), never looked back.
