Miami's bats were just too much to overcome for the Hoos on Sunday, but the series win puts them in great position to make a run at the postseason.
Sunday morning's tilt against the Miami Hurricanes didn't exactly go as planned for Virginia Baseball as they fell by a score of 8-6. Despite the loss, the weekend was still a tremendous success. Virginia did exactly what they had to do taking a series from a nationally ranked foe and playing some of their best all around baseball in the process. The Hoos now stand at 24-15 on the season, 9-12 in the ACC.
