Virginia and BYU announced today that the football series between the two teams would be postponed. Originally, BYU was scheduled to travel to Charlottesville in 2019, and Virginia would make the return trip to Provo in 2023. Now, the 2019 game has been moved to 2021 and will take place in Provo, while the 2023 game will be in Charlottesville instead.
The schools also added another game to the 2025 -- 2025! -- schedule in Provo.
The originally-scheduled 2019 and 2023 trips were added in 2013, prior to the 2013 and 2014 games between the two schools.
