In terms of ACC record, the Clemson Tigers were just a game behind the Cavaliers at 17-13. But while the Cavaliers were reeling off seven straight ACC series victories to end the season, the Tigers limped into the ACC Tournament having lost four of their last five (three of the five came against the top three teams in the conference).
So, if you are looking for a postseason resume booster, the Clemson-UVa game could be a huge one with both teams needing another solid win to assure hosting a regional next weekend. Though, both are likely virtually assured already.
