There are few things more exhilarating than scoring a goal. What makes the feeling even greater is when the goal is so remarkable that you have to ask yourself, “did that really just happen?”
Well, that’s the position Virginia Cavaliers defender Paddy Foss found himself in recently.
In a deadlock with Louisville in the final minutes, Foss was set up for a free kick at midfield. Rather than playing it safe, Foss fired off a rocket shot that arched over the Cardinals goalie and into the back of the net for the game-winning golazo.
It truly was an unbelievable goal.
