VIDEO: Nick Chubb, Greyson Lambert Have Big Season Openers For Georgia Bulldogs

In Athens, hopes were high heading into the season opener for the Georgia Bulldogs. A team picked by many to win the SEC East, Mark Richt’s team showed why they’re getting so much love to start the season in their opener against Louisiana-Monroe.

The main reason would be running back Nick Chubb. The superstar got in the end zone twice in the first half, first from 14 yards out and again from 23 yards:

Under center, Greyson Lambert got the start for the Bulldogs and didn’t disappoint. The transfer from Virginia found his receivers and looks impressive with his new team:

After one half of football, the Bulldogs had a 35-7 lead and Lambert had a pretty impressive stat line while continuing to win over fans:
