The UVA Football roster took a hit on Thursday when it was announced that offensive linemen Eric Tetlow and Sadiq Olanrewaju would be retiring due to ongoing injury concerns. Both players would have been seniors this fall after missing the 2015 season due to injuries. According to a press release from the Virginia athletic department, Tetlow and Olanrewaju will remain enrolled at UVA and continue working towards their degrees.
In addition, the school announced that incoming freshmen recruits Trysten Hill and Deedrick Daniels would not be enrolling. Hill, a defensive lineman from Florida, was a last-minute addition to Virginia’s 2016 recruiting class.
