You might recall that Canaan Severin did this at home two years ago. This Saturday’s matchup marks the 14th time that the Miami Hurricanes and Virginia will meet. It is also Senior Day (really Fourth-Year Day) for the Hoos, meaning that this game will close out the home football season at Scott Stadium.
Officially no longer bowl eligible, Virginia will look to close out the last three games on a positive note. Coach Bronco Mendenhall is not used to having losing seasons at all so these games will provide a good metric to see what the future holds for the team.
