The day after Virginia senior Danielle Collins became the first Virginia women's tennis player to take home the prestigious All-American title, junior Thai-Son Kwiatkowski followed suit, defeating Dominik Koepfer of Tulane 6-0, 6-2. Koepfer was the 4 seed in the tournament, while Kwiatkowski was the 3 seed. Kwiatkowski becomes the third Virginia men's tennis player to win the tournament, which is considered a national title by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Alexander Domijan and Mitchell Frank each won the tournament twice in a four year span between 2009 and 2013. Kwiatkowski's victory means that the Hoos have won the men's singles title at the event 5 of the last six years.
