ZooTennis's Colette Lewis tweeted today that Ryan Shane has received a wildcard entry to the 2015 US Open Singles Tournament. The USTA customarily reserves a wildcard for an American NCAA Singles Champion.

If you don't recognize the other Americans on that list, Austin Krajicek is the only other player with NCAA Tennis experience. Krajicek was an All-American at Texas A&M. Bjorn Fratangelo considered going to college, but ultimately turned pro after winning the Boys Singles title at the 2011 French Open.
