But UVA’s kryptonite, Dwayne Bacon, answered with a fallaway three of his own only six seconds later. A desperation heave from London Perrantes grazed the net but fell short, and Florida State left John Paul Jones Arena with a 60-58 win.
Bacon led the Noles with 29 points—26 of them in the second half.
