It has come to be expected that when Virginia plays at Virginia Tech, things are never easy. Tonight that wasn’t the case as the No. 8 Cavaliers dominated the Hokies on the road in Cassell Coliseum. DeAndre Hunter led the way for the Hoos with 14 points as Virginia shot 4849 from the field and 48% from three. Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome each had 13 points and Devon Hall added 12 in the win. The victory was the biggest at Cassell in Coach Bennett’s tenure at Virginia, with the last blowout was by 16 points during the 2012-13 season.
